Kia Ora!!! this week for my gospel reflection i made a poster. This is a part from the Gospel and i changed the words up a bit hope you enjoy bye. 

My Awesome Math

 This week i made a maths poster it is about measuring angles using degrees that is my goal to. Hope you like it. Question: do you no how to measure angles using degrees?

House of Bricks Reflection

 My favourite Lego activity was the car racing because it was fun to work together and listen to my buddy Archie's ideas.

My least favourite Lego activity was the mosaic because it was hard to match the pieces of Lego.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was passing the bricks because it was hard to see other people adding to my creation and changing it.

The most challenging activity was the car racing because you had 15 minutes to build a car out of Lego. You had to find the bricks that you wanted to put on your car. Also you had to test your car on the ramps you had to go back and forth testing and changing.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because you can collaborate with your buddies and work together and it makes you faster.

Should Have A School Dress Code

 For my writing create i did a question the question was should we have a school dress code or should we not have one. I wrote some reasons of why we shouldn't have a school dress code. One of them was why the uniform was expensive. At your school do you think you should have a dress code or not?? thank you for listening.

We Should Not Litter.

 For my writing create I needed to choose out of 15 questions I picked nobody should litter. I made a  Google drawing about why we should not litter. My favourite reason was because it kills the fish and gets in there tummies and they die. What is your reason about why we should not litter??.

Should Junk Food Be Banned From School.

 My argument about should junk food  be banned from school or should you be allowed to bring junk food to school. I think that junk food should be allowed at school because you wood look ford to eat your favourite biscuit and if junk food was banned from school you wood not be allowed to eat your favourite biscuit. And i think loveys should be banned because it makes you really hyperactive in class and that is why I think junk food should be allowed at school.

The Yellow Umbrella

 

kia ora This week me and my hub made a story about a yellow umbrella it is about a little girl who went to a home for little scared children .

As the dark became light, the creaky door to miss  Elem’s for kids opened up wide. The little girl with the shiny Brite umbrella, scared Lee entered the orphanage before finding a cosy place for her umbrella. 

Not wanting to be 

Boris quickly turned his head around the door so that he was invisible to be seen. 

Standing off to the side, the girl discovered the happy scene as the children explored at the bottom of the toy box for hidden treasures. 

The girl smiled as she eyed the young boy racing around the orphanage like a spaceship. Her smile fast Lee flew away as she looked back at the umbrella and all she saw were rain puddles. Her prized umbrella was gone.

Hello and welcome back to my blog!!! today with my friend Max we made a screencast about counting to 30 in Maori. It took a bit to say the numbers in Maori but we practiced and practiced until we got it. My Tumu Teams Birthdays Months

 

Hello, today I made 2 graphs. It was really fun to play around on Google Sheets. My whole hub did this as well. We did the chart about all the people in a hub birthday months. Then you had to put some statements under the graphs.

Margaret Mahy Trip

On Thursday my hub and I went to visit Margaret Mahy playground. At 9:30am we got there. We were all so excited for all the rotations. The first rotation I went to was Margaret Mahy Playground. We looked at all these cool designs that I had never seen before. Then Mrs Carney, my teacher, gave us a piece of paper and a crayon. Then we went to our favourite design. I put my piece of paper on the tile and I rubbed the crayon on my piece of paper and made a cool piece of art. Then we got to have a yummy nibble to eat. I ate a piece of chocolate and crackers. 

While I was waiting to feed the tuna I got to play on the playground. We all went down the big slide together and it was so fun. All the mats were different and there were 13 of them. 

Then it was the fun part, we got to go on the waka. It was fun to paddle. I was sitting in the front of the waka.

Afterwards we walked over to Victoria Square with Mrs Brown. Then we had a look around at all the statues and the big water fountain. Me and Patrick, my friend, looked for some coins in the water but we couldn't find any. We had to copy the pou and make it ourselves. Mrs Brown asked some questions and then we walked back then we got on the bus and went back to school. 

My favourite part of the trip was the waka because it is fun to paddle through the water. Also  seeing all the tuna swimming.

Something I learnt was that female tuna is bigger than male tuna. There were thirteen mats and they were all different designs.

The thing I found the most interesting was the mats because they all told a story.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because it gave me ideas for what my group would design for the school.

Kia ora this week in reading and writing we had to make a slideshow or poster about how to make a quality blog post or comment.My Goal was to try spell all the words right without my cromebook correcting them.  This week I have been learning Tidy Numbers  (equal adjustment). 

I have some examples. Tidy numbers using equal adjustment, makes it easier for you to add or subtract problems.  

So if I had a problem like this:

31+21=

I would  take away 1 of the 21 to make it 20.

So the equation would look like this now:

31+20=

But now I would need to make it equal and + 1 on to the 31 to make it 32.

So the equation would look like this now: 32+20= 52.   Have you use tidy numbers equal adjustment.
