Should Junk Food Be Banned From School.

 My argument about should junk food  be banned from school or should you be allowed to bring junk food to school. I think that junk food should be allowed at school because you wood look ford to eat your favourite biscuit and if junk food was banned from school you wood not be allowed to eat your favourite biscuit. And i think loveys should be banned because it makes you really hyperactive in class and that is why I think junk food should be allowed at school.

The Yellow Umbrella

 

kia ora This week me and my hub made a story about a yellow umbrella it is about a little girl who went to a home for little scared children .

As the dark became light, the creaky door to miss  Elem’s for kids opened up wide. The little girl with the shiny Brite umbrella, scared Lee entered the orphanage before finding a cosy place for her umbrella.

Boris quickly turned his head around the door so that he was invisible to be seen. 

Standing off to the side, the girl discovered the happy scene as the children explored at the bottom of the toy box for hidden treasures. 

The girl smiled as she eyed the young boy racing around the orphanage like a spaceship. Her smile fast Lee flew away as she looked back at the umbrella and all she saw were rain puddles. Her prized umbrella was gone.

Counting to 30 in Maori

Hello and welcome back to my blog!!! today with my friend Max we made a screencast about counting to 30 in Maori. It took a bit to say the numbers in Maori but we practiced and practiced until we got it. My Tumu Teams Birthdays Months

 

Hello, today I made 2 graphs. It was really fun to play around on Google Sheets. My whole hub did this as well. We did the chart about all the people in a hub birthday months. Then you had to put some statements under the graphs.

Margaret Mahy Trip

On Thursday my hub and I went to visit Margaret Mahy playground. At 9:30am we got there. We were all so excited for all the rotations. The first rotation I went to was Margaret Mahy Playground. We looked at all these cool designs that I had never seen before. Then Mrs Carney, my teacher, gave us a piece of paper and a crayon. Then we went to our favourite design. I put my piece of paper on the tile and I rubbed the crayon on my piece of paper and made a cool piece of art. Then we got to have a yummy nibble to eat. I ate a piece of chocolate and crackers. 

While I was waiting to feed the tuna I got to play on the playground. We all went down the big slide together and it was so fun. All the mats were different and there were 13 of them. 

Then it was the fun part, we got to go on the waka. It was fun to paddle. I was sitting in the front of the waka.

Afterwards we walked over to Victoria Square with Mrs Brown. Then we had a look around at all the statues and the big water fountain. Me and Patrick, my friend, looked for some coins in the water but we couldn't find any. We had to copy the pou and make it ourselves. Mrs Brown asked some questions and then we walked back then we got on the bus and went back to school. 

My favourite part of the trip was the waka because it is fun to paddle through the water. Also  seeing all the tuna swimming.

Something I learnt was that female tuna is bigger than male tuna. There were thirteen mats and they were all different designs.

The thing I found the most interesting was the mats because they all told a story.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because it gave me ideas for what my group would design for the school.
